Terms of Use
Last updated October 28, 2026
These terms govern your use of Business Legal Rating at blrating.com (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Business Legal Management LLC, a Texas limited liability company (“we”, “us”), based in Dallas, Texas. We are a management consulting company, not a law firm. By using it you agree to these terms.
1. What the Service is
The Service is a free self-assessment tool. It asks questions about your business, can review your public website automatically, and produces a rating, category scores, an action plan and a downloadable certificate. All of it is free. We don’t charge for the Service and never ask for payment details.
2. Not legal advice
Results are general information based on your own answers and an automated review of public web pages. They are not legal advice, an audit, a certification, a credit rating or a guarantee of compliance. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal services through the Service. Using the Service does not create an attorney–client relationship with us or anyone else. Before relying on any result, speak with a licensed attorney about your situation.
3. Your responsibilities
- Give accurate answers and only submit a business, and a website, that you are authorized to represent.
- Don’t misuse the Service. Our Acceptable Use Policy applies.
- The certificate reflects your self-assessment on the date shown. Don’t present it as an independent audit or as an endorsement by us, and don’t alter it.
4. Website review
When you enter a website address, you ask us to fetch and analyze its publicly available pages on your behalf. We may use automated tools, including third-party AI models, to do so.
5. Your content and results
You keep ownership of the information you provide. You give us permission to use it to provide the Service. We may also use it in aggregated, de-identified form to improve the questions and scoring. Your results link is private but not password-protected, so share it with care.
6. Our content
The Service, including its questions, scoring method and design, belongs to us. You may use your results and action plan for any lawful purpose.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
9. Changes and termination
We may change or discontinue the Service, or update these terms. When we do, we’ll post the new terms here with a new date. If you keep using the Service after that, you accept the changes.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas.
